By using simple wedges you can freely and precisely adjust the scribing needle!

Create parallel lines to a surface, even at tiny dimensions!

For example, center of a blade

• The bottom has a needle sized cutout so you can go all the way to 0.
  • It can also function as a scabbard if you have it all the way down
• SCRIBE text helps with pin orientation - its always on the larger side
• There is a round hole on the bottom side for easier handling by a finger
• Print orientation is already set - there are some bridges but its not critical, no support needed
• Needle hole is purposely tight, consider drilling for a clean size (its 3 or 3.2mm without any print offset)

ORIGIN:

My goal was to create a 3D Printed center scribe with which one would be able to draw a line on a blades edge precisely enough al the way from tip to heel.

It will not be as precise as a metal one but for that it costs close to nothing and you can use a scribing needle, that you already own.

SIZE:

Current version is made for a 3 or 3.2mm diameter needle and enough range for a 30mm distance.

Let me know if you are interested in another size and i might add it. I know there are some thick “pen” like scribing needles out there. I would like to make one like that but don't currently own any to know the size. It could possibly be adjusted for a pencil also.
