This sperical knob design is made with JSCAD, which is written in Javascript, similar to OpenSCAD. You can customize and download your own knob here:

If you want a hole on the bottom of the knob, you can scroll down to “Processing steps (work in progress)” and add a “RotateX” with 180degrees and drill a whole with “Drilling machine”.
I have already exported some knobs, both with 3mm holes and without.

Maybe “Socket Angle” should rather be the radius of the stem… I will change that soon
