I made this so I could pass through the power supply of my heat pump into my technic box without the need to cut off the power plug, which would void the warranty of the heat pump.

The cable bushing requires a ø40mm hole to be drilled and works with all regular power plugs up to ø37mm.

Max clamping length is 12mm, the clamping ring can be scaled in Z in the slicer according to your needs (default height is 11mm).

The two hexagonal pins are used for an easy assembly of the two cable bushing halves, to ensure the correct alignment of the thread.

If someone needs a bigger or smaller diameter and/or a longer thread/clamping length, just drop me a message and I can quickly adjust the model to your specific needs :-)

The version I used in the picture is just slightly different as I had to adjust it to my technic box but you get the idea.

I printed mine with Extrudr Green Tec Pro Carbon, but any PETG or better will work as well for outdoor use.

Print settings:

0,2 IS Structural

5 bottom / 5 top layers

4 perimeters (3 perimeters for 20mm version)

20% infill Cubic

Or just import the 3mf file as project and change the material to whatever you're using.

Update 01.11.2024:

• Added a ø20mm version by request for a ø5mm cable
• all parts sizes were reduced accordingly, clamping length reduced to 7mm (clamping ring default 6mm)

Update 26.04.2025:

• Added a ø40mm version by request for a max clamping length of 22mm
• all other parts are the same as with the regular 40mm version
• 3mf includes all necessary parts, remove or resize the clamping ring to your needs

Update 09.05.2025:

• Added a ø22mm and a ø24mm version by request for a ø8mm cable
• all parts sizes were adjusted accordingly, clamping length reduced to 7mm (clamping ring default 6mm), Pins are the same as for the ø20mm version
