This support should be screwed directly into a wall or stud depending on your hydroponic setup. This support is not fastened to the drainage canal- the 2x3in aluminum downspout (i.e. drainage canal shown as the light blue extrusion in the pictures) should rest on top of the support. The support should be screwed in at the angle necessary for adequate drainage for your hydroponic array. I recommend printing this part on its side and using tree supports for the counterbored holes.
