i made this desktop mic stand because i had a microphone and it didn't have a desktop stand.

also, i thought it would look nice with a bit of art deco style… and then my 97-tear-old neighbor saw the first prototype (i threw it at him when he wouldn't stop mowing my lawn for free) and he said when he was in first grade, mic stands were (and i quote) “the future!”.

i tried uploading an actual 3/8"-16 bolt to printables and including it here, but prusa doesn't allow uploading of stainless-steel items (and i forgot to try any other metals) — so until they do, you'll have to get one yourself, and you'll also have to make sure it's 3/4" long. 

i'm sorry i didn't post a metric version of this model, but all of my european microphones have 3/8"-16 threads.

NOTE: if the bolt you secure on your own is a lot shorter or a lot longer than 3/4", then your microphone will prolly not have a proper desktop stand, and this is true even if your microphone is *not* european (i personally tested three guatamalan mics and had no luck).
