This is a stand for MustangDave's awesome model at [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:981463](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:981463), I know Phantasm isn't Lovecraft but I had a lot of space to fill on the pyramid and I do feel that the 'cosmic horror' themes fit well. I like to think of it a a seal that keeps the sphere locked to the base rather than flying off and causing brain draining mischief.
