Descrição
This seven-piece Soma Cube was invented in 1936 by Piet Hein.
All seven pieces can be combined together to make a 3x3x3 cube.
These model files when printed at 100% will create an assembled Soma Cube of 60mm x 60mm x 60mm.
There are 240 possible combinations, some of which are rotations, translations or reflections, but can you find them all?
The pieces are a combination of six Tetracubes and a Tricube. This gives 6 x 4 + 1 x 3 = 27, which equals the 3 x 3 x 3 = 27 cube.
What to print:
One of each shape:
1 x Tetracube - L Shape.stl
1 x Tetracube - T Shape.stl
1 x Tetracube - S Shape.stl
1 x Tetracube - B Shape.stl
1 x Tetracube - D Shape.stl
1 x Tetracube - F Shape.stl
1 x Tricube - L Shape.stl
The models do not need supports and can be printed with standard settings. Advanced printers may want to iron the top surface to create a smooth look to the puzzle pieces.
For compatibility with all of my other models, print a 100% scale. If you scale any model, please remember the scaling factor and apply it to all models if you'd like them to be compatible.
Use multiple colours so that they can be distinguished or use a single colour for even more of a challenge (and print in one go).
How To Play:
Rotate and stack the pieces to form a 3x3x3 cube.
Have fun and see how many different ways you can find to arrange them!
