The L Game is a strategy game for two players.  This is an easy to print game with all pieces included in the print files.  The models do not need supports and can be printed with standard settings.

What to print:

1 x The L Game - Board.stl

2 x The L Game - L Shape.stl (Use two different colours)

2 x The L Game - Neutral Shape.stl

The models do not need supports and can be printed with standard settings. Advanced printers may want to iron the top surface to create a smoother look to the puzzle pieces.

For compatibility with all of my other models, print a 100% scale.  If you scale any model, please remember the scaling factor and apply it to all models if you'd like them to be compatible.

How To Play:

The L game is a two-player game played on a board of 4×4 squares.

Each player has a L-shaped tetromino (L Shape.stl), and there are two neutral pieces (Neutral Shape.stl).

Set Up

The initial set-up of the board should have each of the neutral pieces in diagonally opposite corners of the board.  Then place both L Shapes onto the board to form a column across the central squares.

Play:

On each turn, a player must first move their ‘L Shape’, and then may optionally move either one of the neutral shape.

The game is won by leaving the opponent unable to move their L piece to a new position.

Pieces may not overlap, nor cover other pieces, nor let pieces hang off the board. On moving the L piece, it is picked up and then placed in empty squares anywhere on the board. It may be rotated or even flipped over in doing so; the only rule is that it must end in a different position from the position it started—thus covering at least one square it did not previously cover. To move a neutral piece, a player simply picks it up then places it in an empty square anywhere on the board.
