Design Considerations

I designed this to be printed in PETG. The thin walls allow enough flex in the tray to separate the sides from the ice.

Removing Ice From Tray

The best method I have found, given that I have only printed this in PETG is:

• Flex the perimeter of the tray away from the ice on each side. This should require minimal force.
• Set the tray on some sun soaked concrete for 5-10 minutes (depending on temperature)
• Turn the tray upside down, shaking and softly flexing the tray walls. 

Note: I have not had much success using water (hot or cold) to assist. Usually this will crack the ice.

• Filament: PETG
• Supports: None
• Layer Height: 0.2mm
• Nozzle: 0.4mm
• Infill: 15%
