Modelo 3D Floating Coordinate Frame por Adam Pettinger no Printables

Descrição

The frames are free standing, and also have attachment points along each arrow and at the origin. Can be used with the included gripper block or similar to have a robot grasp near the frame's origin. The mounting holes in the arrows are thru holes for ¼-20 bolts, spaced 2 inches apart.

 

Includes right-handed and left-handed frames, with the left-handed arrows specifically labeled “Left.”

 

For each part, there are versions for heat-set threaded inserts, or self-tapping holes.

 

Assembly

To assemble one frame requires:

  • 3x arcs (recommend 1x per color, and pick the correct version for insert vs self tap)
  • 3x arrows (recommend 1x per color, use the “left” versions for left-handed frame)
  • 6x 6-32 x 0.5 inch cap head bolts
  • 6x 6-32 x 0.15 inch heat-set inserts (if using “Insert” versions)

To use the gripper block:

  • 3x 6-32 x 3/8 inch bolts
  • 3 additional 6-32 x 0.15 inch heat-set inserts (if using “Insert” versions)

The inserts go in either side of the arc piece, and optionally in the base of the arrows. Refer to the images to assemble, keeping in mind that each arrow goes with the two differently-colored arcs, and each arc “departs” the arrow at the mounting hole farthest from the tip.
