While playing around with compliant mechanism design I found out that 0.1mm-0.2mm layer height PETG prints can be creased like paper. So, I tried designing the origami crane crease pattern with folds being 0.1mm and the ‘panels' being 0.2mm thick and making it. Turns out it works pretty well! Hope this inspires some cool ideas from anyone that finds it.
