This is a collapsible spool organizer for your sewing spools. Sort them just how you want. It is modular so you can make it as big or small as you want. 

If you have small spools you can make the 5 pins version or if you have fat ones you can make the 3 pins version. 

I did not need to, but depending on your machines accuracy the fit of the hole on the pins might be too tight. Do not push too hard or twist. Then the pins might brake of. Instead you want to file the holes a bit with a round file. 

I printed in PLA, 0,2 mm layer and 200mm/s and it was just fine for the purpose. It took 10-20 min per part.

The model are made from 3 parts. One with the pins, one with three holes and one with two holes. The ones with holes starts and ends with the one with two holes. In between you place the ones with three holes. The part with pins are diagonal to the parts with holes. 

To lock the rack from collapse, you can print an extra part with two holes and put it on the past pin as you can see in the picture. 

(I have not yet figure out how to build a stand so I have have the organizer standing in an angle or mount on the wall.)
