Print with the face on the build plate. You can choose different infill patterns for the bottom for different effects. You might need a brim or mouse ears if the corners do not stick well enough. 
 

Center hole is 8mm, spacing on the inside is 56mm, total face thickness is 3mm. That should fit for most clockworks I could find with a finger length between 3-5mm. I used a minute finger length of 3,5mm.

You could also hang the clock on the wall, to do so I added a shorter version that just about covers the clockwork.
