Small and simple cable holder that is easy to mount and doesn't take long to print. It's a bit ugly, but it's useful, which is why it fits perfectly into your home. It really is a conversation piece.
The 1mm gap easily fits cables of up to ~7mmØ. The biggest cable I tried was a 3x4mm² Power Cable (about 14mmØ) and it barely fit the gap. Small cables like 2mm OS2 work pretty well and don't escape the bracket.
Recommended print settings:
v2:
- PETG Filament
- 0.2mm Layer height (i used 0.3mm and it works as well, but the screw-holes aren't perfectly rounded)
- set your Slicer to use 5 Perimeters, that way there will be no infill
- Print it flat and use a Brim
v1:
- PETG Filament (I'd like to see if TPU works, if anyone wants to test that)
- 0.2mm Layer height (i used 0.3mm and it works as well, but the screw-holes aren't perfectly rounded)
- 10% Infill (i used the Gyroid pattern from PrusaSlicer)
- Print it flat
It's meant to be screwed to your wall (or ceiling) with your average multi-use screws that are made to be countersunk. Recommended size is somewhere between 4.5x45mm and 5x80mm, I personally used 5x50mm. Your 6mm screws most likely won't fit, screws smaller than 3.5mm just go right through the hole.
