Descrição
Check out my new Toy Switchblade design here.
This is a toy switchblade folding knife I designed. This design uses a rubber band to move the blade and a spring to tension a button to lock the blade in place in the open and closed position. There is a full size and mini version. Its also a very fun fidget toy.
Check out my new fidget spinner and print in place bearing here.
You can find my other toy knife designs here.

Instructions
- I recommend printing with 3 wall layers and 30% infill.
- The full size and mini versions share all the same parts expect for the blade and handle.
Support Removal and Assembly
The only supports that need to be removed are on the blade. A version of the blade with the supports removed can be seen in the assembly animation.
For this design the only hardware you will need is a spring and rubber band. I would recommend cutting down a pen spring and finding a rubber band you have sitting around. Here are the links to the springs and rubber bands I use. You can get information about the correct sizes from the links.
