Fusion 360 File
The fusion 360 file included comes with predefined parameters you can change to modify the diameter, text height, ring thickness, etc.
Simply Open the file in Fusion 360, Navigate to Modify > Change Parameters
You can change the text by right clicking on the sketch named TextSketch and double clicking on the blue text profile. you can change the font, text and even placement of the text. That said, it is recommended to change the Text Height and spacing using the parameters since those are used for determining ring size.
After editing the Fusion 360 file to your liking, if you only need one ring, you can export the *.stl file by right-clicking the model and choosing ‘Save As Mesh’.
If you need a full set in your new style, you can individually export each mesh after editing the text each time or you can use the python script to automate it.
Python Script
After editing the Fusion 360 file to your liking, you can export all of the condition rings by adding the Python Script (Export Condition Rings.py) into Fusion 360 and running it.
To do this, in the toolbar navigate to: Utilities> ADD-INS > Scripts > Create
Choose Python and name the file.
After creating the file, choose the file and hit Edit. this should open the file in your text or code editor. If not (sometimes fusion 360 doesn't open the file) navigate to your scripts folder (click the details + icon on the Add-Ins/scripts pop up) and open it with your text editor of choice (notepad, vscode, etc.)
Replace the contents of the file with the contents of the included Python Script (Export Condition Rings.py) and hit save.
Now head back to fusion 360 and run the script. You should be prompted to select which folder you want to save it in (note that the folder should exist before running the script). Click OK and you should see the Condition Rings change text and populate the folder you specified
