Needing some storage space in my desk for small tools and hardware, I made a smaller version of Alexandre Chappels' excellent assortment system. Check out his video!
The design is identical with a minor change at the bottom of the boxes but the dimensions are more limited. The base is 45x45 mm and the height is 35 mm with or without grid, the wall thickness is 1 mm. The handle can hold a 9 mm label.
Divide the inside dimensions, length and width of your drawer by 45, round to integers and multiply these values to find the maximum number of boxes. The minimum drawer height has to be 35 mm.
Place the grids on the bottom of the drawer, if necessary fix with a few drops of super glue. If you don't mind the boxes moving in the drawer, you can omit the grids.
For those who want to make changes themselves, I've included all the Fusion 360 files.
It does take some time to print all those boxes. I have a drawer with 110 units and it took about 125 hours to make all those boxes and grids but it was worth it, I'm happy with the result.

Layer height: boxes 0.2 mm, grid 0.15-0.2 mm
