Descrição
As much as I like seeing a PCB populated with components, I really don't like handling them directly when they're powered up. No matter what the voltage.
So I decided I would make a case for the Sparkfun AVR Programmer. I'm sure there are plenty out there like this, but I wanted to go through with the exercise of designing my own.
The vents were as much for design as they were for any functional purpose. Although the vents on the top of the case allow you to observe the LEDs directly. If you need to access the 5v switch it's super easy just to slide the cover back and make that adjustment.
The PCB can be attached to the bottom half of the case with four M2.5x4mm screws. I personally used cap heads because that's what I had.
Printing Tips
- Prints easily without supports.
- Print file optimized for PETG and a .4mm nozzle.
