A simple automata model of bat wings
Print instructions
These bat wings move in a flying motion thanks to the 3D printed gears, cams and rods.
This print requires some 3mm tube/rod to act as the hinges in the wings (2x80mm & 1x100mm & 2x22mm) FYI: I used brass tube
Print @ 0.2mm layer height
For the frame (Bat_frame.stl) (x2) I set the top and bottom layers (horizontal shells) to zero with 3 vertical perimeters so you can see the workings and the mechanics.
