Running a cable across the floor is never a good solution but sometimes there is no alternative this is intended to at least reduce the trip hazard it creates.

• width : 40mm
• length : 50mm, 170mm or 300mm
• inner diameter for cable : 5mm

For my use case this was intended for a 5mm ethernet cable however you can modify the fusion or step file included to get different sizes. It is a very simple model one sketch and one extrude. Also if you want to get a shorter length for some final section you can just stop the print early.

Printing

You can print it in vase mode to save on plastic it will still join up in the center and the cable it self will give it structural strength. I printed it vertically to allow for a smooth upper curve if you do the same make sure to use a generous brim width.

Installation

I have added some images of the installing process I recommend using some paper so the tape does not stick to the cable.

This model is designed for a 15mm double sided tape I used this one. it is important that it is 1mm thick if your tape is different you will need to modify the file and adjust the dip accordingly.
