These are quick connectors that I made for my Sherco enduro bike. The idea is to be able to quickly take them off for track or woods riding but still have a road legal bike in under a minute when you're done.

Only the front females need lids, the rear ones have the lids on the mount. all 4 need the plug housing. The female connectors and their lids/rear mount are assembled with glue, same for the plug_inside and plug_housing.

The hardware I used was 4mm banana plugs with sockets - I had some laying around but these should work:

The plastic on the plug needs to come off for them to fit the housing, on the sockets the plastic rings stay on.

The indicators came with the bike, but the model is super common with Ktm exc models, Sherco models etc. There are lots on ebay. The flex parts come off and are replaced with the Quick_realease_indicator_plug_inside stl.

I plan to remodel the rear mount at some point as it didn't fit as well as I had hoped. It fits under the rear fender but need to flex a bit and lean a few degrees downward to get the bolts tightened into the fender.

Please note that my photos are of the first prototype, the final version is the same but with 2 latches for stability.
