A soft smiley ball is used to make it kid and home safe!
Modified the club (not shown in the video) to save print time and material.

What you require :
1 x Smiley ball ( or anything similar to that)
2 x 1inch or smaller suction cups
2 x 4x1mm magnets or similar

1 x Scotch Brite Mop stick
OR
1 x 1m 22mm PVC pipe for mop
2 x 10mm M3 bolts to lock the pipe (not shown in the video)
Double sided foam tape to stick the magnets.

Stick one magnet on the flap first, then use the second magnet to check it's polarity and go ahead accordingly.
