Motivation:

After having issues with my existing lamp sockets in finding a suitable stand for my Moon Lamp, I decided to create a new adapter. With this adapter, the majority of the socket is concealed within the adapter itself, and therefore inside the lamp. This resolves the issue of the socket extending to the floor. As a result, flatter stands that are closer to the ground can be used.

You can find the project online on Onshape, where you can also create new adapters with the appropriate diameter and height for your socket. You can also download the provided Bambu Studio Projects or STEP files. These files provide an adapter for an IKEA Strala socket as well as for a generic socket purchased from Amazon DE.
