Description
A modular vice that is still a work in progress. The pivot should allow the vice to be positioned however you wish! All Solidworks files are 2022 student edition. It has mounting holes to screw it to a work surface. After 3d printing a few vices, I was disappointed by most of them not being configurable or the operation of it being more of a novelty rather than useful tool. So I designed this. Its rigid, smooth, and solid. All models are in inches, sorry metric friends. The screw for the vice is the same thread as the modular threaded hole in the bottom, so you can use that as a basis for any mounts you can imagine. All parts can be printed on a printer as small as an Ender 2. It is recommended that the screws/bolts be printed with at least 6 walls and a rather hefty infill of 40% or more to take the tension. Enjoy!
