Modelo 3D SV07 Spool Holder por joescalon no Printables

Descrição

This is a prototype mod to move the heavy filament spool off the top of the SV07 printer, which should improve input shaping results and allow compatibility with using filament driers while printing.

This has only been tested on the SV07plus but should be compatible with the SV07. This mod uses a cheap Ender3 style “Capricorn Bowden tube upgrade kit”, that comes with PTFE tubing, M6 tube fitting, and M10 tube fitting.

Models included:

Sensor mount that snaps into place at the top where the spool holder was and the filament runout sensor can be bolted to it with the included mount screw.

Sensor hat fits on top of the filament runout sensor, bolts on with the top screw from the sensor, has a mount point for the M6 PTFE fitting, and a window to guide and move filament through the sensor.

PTFE Mount a press fit part that sits at the top of the left or right Z rail and has a mount for the M10 PTFE fitting.

Previous models are in a single 3MF file and can be printed separately or in one plate.

Spool Mount is a stand that can be used with the spool holder once it is removed off the top of the printer. It snaps into place just like on the printer and has an option screw hole, but I found the screw is not needed. This model is pre-supported and the support assumes 0.2mm layer height and can be peeled off when print is done.

Notes: Everything I tested was at 0.2mm layer height and used brim to make sure every part came off the printer flat. In the future I might update the PTFE Mount model with a swivel M10 fitting mount to have better compatibility at the max height of the printer. Also with the M10 PTFE fitting the PTFE tubing can be pushed further through the fitting to allow more flexibility on where the spool holder is located.

Assembly: the PTFE fittings just screw into the plastic parts and everything was sliced in Orcaslicer with the “Precise wall(experimental)”. If you don't use Orcaslicer you will have to shrink the XY by -0.10 to -0.15 using “Horizontal Expansion” in Cura or “XY Size Compensation” in Prusaslicer. The "PTFE Mount" is a good test print for how much XY expansion needs to be adjusted.

Leave a comment if you have any issues or suggestions for modifications, I can update the models or add more variety in the future. Happy printing.
