This is a quick organizer I fabbed up to get some levels and paint poles organized in the garage instead of leaning in a corner where they were trapping leaves and dirt. The bottom holder has a thick hex grid floor to let any dust or debris fall through, but be strong enough to handle a level roughly dropped in it. There are two tabs with mounting holes above the “bucket” which should work to cantilever the load against the wall and support the load.
The upper holder has a swing arm and knob assembly. It isn't incredibly strong as it's really meant to just keep the stored items from falling over away from the wall. The mounting screw holes are aligned with the holes used by the knobs the crossbar swings on. I used a skinny extension bit but a normal screwdriver shaft should fit through the opening. Longer screws may have to be inserted through the mounting holes by slightly bending the outer arms to get the screws in. After the upper holder is attached to the wall, the knobs need to be glued in. The knob that forms the pivot shouldn't have any glue on the outer surfaces where the crossbar pivots. Thanks to using ASA filament I was able to solvent weld both knobs in, only putting solvent on the inside post of the pivot knob and letting it wick forward. I kept moving the crossbard to make sure it didn't get glued down. If you have to ever remove and reposition you will need to break and re-print the upper holder.
I printed mine in a lovely red ASA material using the .2 strength setting in Bambu Studio. ASA is impact resistant, UV resistant, and can be solvent welded with acetone to glue the knobs in so is an excellent choice. ABS would be equally good mius the UV resistance and can be welded with acetone as well. PETG would work well, however you would need to use CA glue to attach the knobs. I don't use a lot of it and had the acetone on hand. I would be super careful to not over glue the knob used for the pivot. I would recommend not using PLA for either part of this as the filament would need to be more flexible/less brittle for the top and be flexible enough to absorb the impact of someone dropping a level or whatever you're holding a few inches into the bottom.
You will need four flat head screws to mount this to your wall. I used what I had lying around and left over from old projects.
