This is a convenient tool for helping prepare and store samples for differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The DSC crucible holder is designed to hold up to 35 pans that are 40 µL in volume and the lid closes with a satisfying “click” sound. No supports are necessary and can be printed with as little as 10% infill. 

The lid designed to ensure a snug fit with the holder. The first time assembling the DSC crucible holder, it may be difficult to combine the pieces, but it will become easier due to friction rubbing the pieces together. Water can be used to reduce friction when assembling the holder for the first time. The lid can be scaled up and down 0.5% depending on your printer tolerances.
