Those handy precision screwdriver kits that we buy from Amazon, Aldi, Lidl etc are great. They come in a nice box and we generally toss that box away or put it deep into our tool drawers. But what if we could make a Gridfinity compatible holder?

That is what I did, because I've renovated my office / workshop to use Gridfinity via a series of Ikea drawers and accessories.

This 2 x 3 Gridfinity compatible precision screw driver holder will keep your bits secure and ready for use.

The smaller holders are designed to hold the rubber / plastic bit holders. I've made them 43 x 8.8 x 12 mm in size, just slightly larger than the bit holders I got with my set. If yours are larger then I have added the 3MF file that you are free to hack. 

The tray at the back is designed to accommodate the driver and the extension, but not the flexi-shaft extension because it wouldn't fit the dimensions. Oh and I've never used it.

To the right side is an inclined section where screws can be placed and easily retrieved.

There are two STLs in the download. The full model and a cut version.

The full model requires support to print the arches of the Gridfinity base. Whereas my cut version does not. This saves a little plastic and time.

I printed in Elegoo PLA+ which I have found to be a great filament.

I had to add a beefy brim to my print as it lifted off the build-plate. Not a major disaster but enough to make me grumpy.
