2025-01-25 : I have uploaded a new version (MARK-2) of this design. Plates are compatible (because Gridfinity). If you mix MARK-1 and MARK-2 plates or lids, use Mark-2 side locks.

With one or several stacked plates and a handle for easy moving, you can build your mobile storage system.

BOM : M3x30 for the plates hinges, M3x25 (or 20) for the handle hinges.

Print as many plates as you need, and one lid. Fill the plates, stack them, lock them into place, lock the lid and you are good to go. When you are using some plate, you may remove the locks (they use expensive desktop real estate) and clip them back when puting the plate back into the stack.

Note : Most side locks are for 6U gridfinity boxes. If you need locks for higher boxes, drop me a message.

2024-03-08 update : added a 4x9U side lock.

Printed in PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle. 0.3 mm layer is good enough for everything except for the locks where I recommend 0.2 layer height.

You will need support on the plates and lid, only for the hinges on the sides. Organic supports are quite easy to remove.
