When the display is removed form the bike, a cover can be used to protect the electrical connections as well as avoid scratches on the surface, if put in a bag.

The lid is locked in place when closed by bumps on the bottom part.

There are 2 version of the lid; with and without the Shimano logo.

I designed this box so that an SC-E6000 display of an Shimano e-bike fits in perfectly. This display is used on the E-6000 series of Shimano bikes.

In order to get this pretty nice shimmering surface, I printed the case face down with a silky effect PLA. And I used the Hilbert Curve as bottom fill pattern. It reminds me of bike chains, so I found that fitting.
