Keep those panels secure while having the ability to easily remove. This latch design skips the brittle filament hinge and uses steel pins for needed strength. 

There are four size latches, choose based on your panel and foam thickness. The most common size is the 4mm latch which is for a 3mm panel +1mm foam. Size is imprinted on each base part.

Hardware quantity is per latch:

• 4 pcs. 1.5mm x 12mm pin
• 4 pcs. M3x4 set screw
• M3x12 socket head cap screw
• M3 hammer T-nut

Assembly instructions

1. Pre-thread all four set screws a couple of millimeters into the plastic. 
2. Take the base latch piece and middle latch piece, making sure the imprinted logo faces up, press 1.5mmx12mm pins through the holes. Tighten set screws until they lightly bottom out on the pin, take care to not strip the plastic. 
3. Take the assembled part and the outside hinge piece and press 1.5mmx12mm pins through the holes. Tighten set screws until they lightly bottom out on the pin, take care to not strip the plastic.
4. Take a M3x12 Socket Head Cap screw and press through the mounting hole in the latch. Use an M3 hammerhead T-nut and twist it a couple of times onto the SHCS.
5. Put into the 2020 extrusion and tighten the M3x12 SHCS until the hammerhead hut grabs.

Pro tip-Use a 1 mm allen wrench to press  any lost pins through the outside hinge hole.

Suggested print setting (Voron parts setting)- 4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer, 4 perimeters, 40% infill
