Updates:

Halloween 2024: Added some more parts, a spider, bat, and owl.

Description:

A fun set of pumpkin decorations, mainly teeth. 

Notes:

This is an initial design with no prior testing. While everything worked, the barbed spikes used to hold the decorations in place require a lot of force to stick into the pumpkin. I recommend cutting a slit with your pumpkin knife before inserting. Once in, they do hold well. Maybe next year I (or someone else) can design a better spike.

Finishing:

The parts pictured are printed with glow in the dark filament and painted with fluorescent paint. The initial plan was to just print with glow in the dark filament, but the effect under the UV light wasn't great. A cheap set of fluorescent (aka neon) acrylic paints provided a great effect.

Assembly:

There isn't much assembly, other than the optional “iris” on the eye. I printed it in black and glued it into the eye after painting to get a crisp line around the pupil.

To insert into the pumpkin just push…hard. As mentioned above, a lot of force and a starter hole is recommended. 

Print Instructions:

The parts can be printed individually, or a bunch all at once. No supports needed. Below are the settings I used with great results.
