This brush rest Is based off the ionic style columns of ancient Greece that you would have learned about in art history. the brush rest is designed to fit 3 brushes and your water container for cleaning them when you switch your paint colour. The textured surface of the base is meant for you to clean your brush with. you are meant to put your paint on a separate paint pallet. ( It would be cool to have an ancient Greece themed paint pallet to go along with the brush rest) this model has about an 8h print time on my ender 3 v2 neo.

Which version do I print 

There are 3 different versions of this you can print, the one shown in display is the hardest to print but if it goes well, will look the best (one above did not come out perfect but is still completely functional)               

• textured complex - hardest to print but looks the best and has the added brush cleaning functionality
• textured simple - less difficult to print while maintaining that brush cleaning functionality but does look slightly worse
• no texture - easy to print but no texture to help you clean your brush

Printing instructions

the 3d model will by default load in facing in the correct orientation.

 For all the different versions of this print I recommend you print them in PLA using the following settings on addition from the cura or prusa default 0.16 layer height settings     

• turn on ironing (better surface finish)
• use tree supports on the only touching build plate settings for supports and turn them on (print needs supports these have the most minimal effect on the print finish)
• 5-10% infill (you really don't need much infill for most parts and even this amount of infill is quite strong)   
• 0.16 layer height (so the texture will print properly)
