3D model Printer Accuracy Tests by V1 Engineering on Printables

Description

Used to validate your printer for XY skew, XZ and YZ Skew.

When accuracy matters, this is a good way to validate your builds true numbers. Simply measure the diagonals and compare the difference, this is an exaggerated error to easily point out printer frame deficiencies. Printers are very precise machines but you need to adjust them for the accuracy you need. You might be surprised at how crooked some prints really are when it matters.

Scaling is important here, you can start a bit smaller to adjust gross errors with fast prints. The larger you scale the more accurate the numbers are, the longer the print takes. For some printers you might even need to test skew on one side and the other, not just in the middle of the bed.

I suggest starting with XY skew. Before moving to the standing tests.

Low infill, 2-3 walls.
