Descrição
Version 1.1
14 I 2025
Uses around 0.4 gram of material
This is my basic filament clip I use
Can hold up to 4 strings
Model is for 1,75mm filaments
If you want to use it with 3mm filament try resizing the model to 170-172%
May be better to use bigger nozzle too (like 0.6mm or even 0.8)
---
MiniFilaClip_v11 - basic model
MiniFilaClip_v11_spool-clip - with additional clip to use it on the spool
Should work with most spools
MiniFilaClip_v11_tower_x10 - basic model x10 printed one on top off another
There is a visible line between segments. Use pliers (close to the line) to break each segment apart (tested only on PLA). For last two you may need two pairs of pliers
MiniFilaClip_v11_x5 - basic model x5, each next to another printed at once
You will need a cutting pliers to cut off each segment
---
Update 14 I 2025
Now in version 1.1
Clip is little bigger and with some small changes improving grip and for easier use
Added few more versions to print, including one to use a clip streight on the spool
---
Printing tips
Made for 0.4mm nozzle
Use only 1 wall, no infill, no top or bottom layers
Best when printed in Vase Mode
You may need to use a negative XY compensation (Horizontal expansion) for a first layer if it will be too squished
Try with -0.1mm or even -0.2mm
Print it slower to have better cooling
Depending on the filament, printer and slicer options it may hold the filament with stronger or weaker force
If it's too weak try adding more flow or print the model slightly smaller
In normal print mode set z-seam to 'sharp corner' (Cura) or 'alligned' (PS) to avoid heaving a seam in the bad spot
