Let’s describe the boxes.  All of them are designed to use the least amount of filament and still provide stability.  In the future I may scallop the sides and bottom to reduce this even more.  If the box is listed as V2, it has a small grid on the bottom which seems to help with warping on bigger boxes.

The first 7mm is essentially a base, with a very shallow 2mm tray.  Nothing stacks on these well so consider them lids.

If you are printing the inserts/trays you should double the tray depth to stack.  If the TPU insert is 19mm tall you need a minimum of 38mm of height for parts.  So the 6u or the 42mm high tray should work.  If you don’t want to stack they look great in the 4u box.

If you are printing the merged tray and inserts, they are already the right height to stack.  Note, these parts can be shallower because the tools start 1mm from the foundation.  If I haven’t merged the part(s) you want yet, ping me and I will see what I can do.

Use magnets if you like, heat the box not the magnet to insert.  You might have to drill of some of the roughed in M3 holes on the bottom of the trays if you want to mechanically connect these parts to your base.  Future upgrade, countersink M3 holes on bottom of boxes.

I have tried to make them all stackable, that is the internal part storage should not interfere with layers of tools.  See photo(s).

I printed the boxes with a 6mm nozzle, .3mm layers, with 2 top and bottom layers and 2 walls.  10% infill was enough support for the interior walls / parts.  TPU trays are a work in progress,  will probably increase walls and top and bottom to 3!

The writing on the inserts is deep.  Was thinking of injecting some kind of white self levelling filler

Some trays (the 3/8" Drive Hex Nuts), waste space…I may remix with room to hold an extension in the future.
