Do your kitties long for the outdoors, but prefer air conditioning over cool breezes? Do you like to have your windows unobstructed by the common suction cup cat shelves? Do you have a chunky cat or two who's brave, big bones borderline normal cat weight limits?

If you answered "yes" to the above, BEHOLD (!!!), a proper cat shelf!

All you need to do is print the shelf brackets (ideally with wood-filled filament), screw them into the wall below a window with a view, and slap on two planks of wood (1/4 in. x 5-1/2 in. x 2 ft.). The planks should fit snugly, but you can drill in some small wood screws into the brackets to fasten the planks if your cats like to jump through ceilings.

Connect tops to bottoms & glue if desired. Screw to wall with anchors or to stud, making sure each bracket is spaced well enough to be even with the 2 planks.

This shelf should be able to hold more than enough for two cats to be on it at a time. My cats combined are around 35lbs & had no issue jumping on/off the past 3 years. I designed the shelves to handle at least 50lbs.
