***Update 11/8/24*** I have added a file for the vcore4 electronics enclosure to mount the raspberry pi with the geeekpi fan. Print two of these mounts. You'll also need 4x 3mm heat sets, 2x 2.5mm heat sets, and 2x 2.5x16 and 2x 2.5x8 screws.
On the vcore3, when the raspberry pi is mounted to the electronics panel using the supplied standoffs, there isn't easy access to the sdcard, ethernet port or USB ports. This standoff mount moves the raspberry pi about 25mm away from the panel, allowing you to get your fingers on the sdcard for easy insertion or removal, as well as the ethernet and usb ports. This particular design is intended to be used with Geeekpi's armor lite heatsink with pwm fan found here: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091L1XKL6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091L1XKL6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details)
For hardware details see the image provided. I also provide the step file if you wish to modify for use without the geeekpi fan. Be sure to place the 2.5mmx20 screws as shown prior to installing the bottom 3mm heats set. The 3mm id provides clearance for a hex wrench to tighten the 2.5mmx20 screws into the geeekpi fan when ready to mount.
ps I don't use the raspberry pi to drive the geeekpi fan (as suggested in that product's instructions) but rather connect it to my printer controller board in a similar manner as you would connect the 4028 part cooling fan (see ratos wiring instructions) but powered at 5v instead of 12v! This allows the geeekpi fan to be configured as a temperature controlled fan in Klipper, and will turn on and off automatically as needed to keep the pi cool.
Here is an example of how to setup the cooling fan in your printer.cfg:
