Problem Statement: With a partner, you will recreate your ghost clip using Solidworks.  You and your partner must have identical files that you create by collaborating on each step, one at a time

Outline Box

• Make a center rectangle with lines from midpoints centered on the origin 13 x 6 cm 
• Mark the whole rectangle for construction

Triangles 

Reference Lines

• Make a horizontal construction line 1 cm deep from the bottom of the rectangle. 
• Delete the bottom line of the rectangle and replace it with six construction lines lined up from point to point that are all set to be equal to 1 c
• Remove chain relation from these 6 construction lines.  
• Make a vertical construction line from the endpoints of the six 1 cm lines. 
• Make the lines inward, toward the origin. 

Actual Triangles

• Make lines starting from the top right corner of the smaller construction rectangle to the end point of a 1 cm line. 
• Make a second line from the endpoint of that line to the top of the smaller rectangle at the endpoint of the vertical construction lines. 
• Repeat this process two more times. 

Hair

Reference Lines

• Make a .9 cm deep construction line from the top line of the Outline box across the Outline box. 

Actual Hair

• Make 4 3-point arcs that are 1.5 cm between endpoints from the bottom left corner of the small reference rectangle. 
• Make them tangent to the top line of the Outline box. 
• Trim the overlapping parts. 
• Use Smart Dimensions to define the length of the arcs as 1.5 cm and the distance between the new endpoints of the trimmed arc and the .9 cm deep construction line and the radius of the arcs. 

Eyes

Reference Line

• From the midpoint of the top line, Make a 2.8 cm construction line inward toward the origin. 
• Make a perpendicular .75 cm construction line from the end of the 2.8 cm line. 
• Make a .5 cm construction line from the end of the .75 cm construction line 

Actual Eyes

• Make a circle with the centerpoint at the end of the .5 cm line. 
• The circle has to have a .5 cm radius. 
• Mirror that sketch relative to the 2.8 cm line. 

Mouth

Reference Lines

• Make a 2.5 cm construction line from the midpoint of the bottom line. 

Actual Mouth

• Make two PERPENDICULAR lines that are 1.75 cm long that have a 45 degree angle from the end of the 2.5 cm construction line. 
• Make two VERTICAL lines from the ends of the previous lines that are 4 cm long. 
• Offset the sketch .5 cm AWAY from that sketch with end caps, reverse, and select chain. 

Complete the Sides of the Ghost

• Make a line from the endpoint of the outermost triangle line to the endpoint of the outermost arc. 
• Make the line on both sides of the ghost.
