I designed this headset holder because I don't have space on my desk for my headset. That's why I came up with the idea of designing a holder that can be screwed to the table top. To avoid injuring yourself or gain space, you can simply pull it out or push it in.
In addition to the 3 parts (which do not require support) to print out, you also need 2 small countersunk screws. Depending on the thickness of the table top, they shouldn't be too long.
Assembly steps:
- Print all 3 Parts
- Screw Part_3 on your desktop
- Slide Part_1 in Part_3
- Glue Part_2 and Part_1 together
I'm not convinced about attaching it with adhesive strips, so I can't say anything about the strength.
Update to New Version (V2):
I changed the tolerance between the sliding parts, so it won't wobble anymore.
The tolerance between Part_1 and Part_3 on each side is now 0.2 mm (before 0.5 mm)
If you already use V1, you can reuse Part_3 because it hasn't changed. Only Part_1 is new.
