You can make your own LED lighting for your Prusa Enclosure. You only need approx. 35 cm of LED stripe, 2mm plexiglass, five M3 nuts and screws, a switch, a power supply, and two DC connectors.

Printing hints

• PLA
• Infill: 15%
• Resolution: 0.2 mm
• The switch case needs support
• Split the base (using cut tool in dovetail mode) between the middle screw hole and rectangular socket. Width 6 mm, groove angle 15°.

Assembly

1. Print the base and switch case (use the one that fits your needs), and optionally print the cap
2. Insert the nuts into prints
3. Solder cable to the LED stripe and glue it into the base
4. Slide in the plexiglass to cover the LED and act as a diffuser
5. If you printed the cap, put it on the top
6. Screw the stripe to the enclosure
7. Remove the support from the case and insert nuts in it
8. Solder the DC connectors to the switch and mount it into the case
9. Screw the case to desired place on the enclosure
10. Connect the cables
11. Enjoy
