This is a simple launcher tool. I use it to spin a top with more momentum than I can give with fingers alone.

I printed it in PLA with standard settings. The larger piece is in two parts so that the launcher can be printed without supports. The two pieces snap together. I have not needed CA glue to keep them together.

The longer cylinder goes into the center void of the tippy top and serves as a sort of axle.

To use, thread the string thru the center slot then wrap around the top handle for a couple of turns with the launcher away from the top. Then push the top handle into the launcher so that the string is centered in the slot. Then wind more string as desired.

Launch away.

You may need to drill out the string hole in the small handle to fit your string.
