At Scout Woodbadge training as we are in the woods we use this to present training materials.
Basically it can be used for any presentation where electronic devices cannot be used easily.
Its small, lightweight and folds up for easy storage. In the past they have used a larger piece of wood with grooves, which is not fun to carry around camp all weekend.
