This is my custom-designed case for the Orange Pi Zero 3. I initially printed a different case, but found it lacking in several aspects. The supports required for the small holes were not to my liking, the antenna holder design was inconvenient as it made antenna removal difficult, and the USB pins were not fully exposed.
Motivated by these shortcomings, I decided to design my own case using Fusion 360, drawing inspiration from the original design. After six iterations, I finally arrived at a design that met all my requirements. I’ve also added a version designed to accommodate 4mm long M3 heat inserts.
The models must be sliced with a 0.2 millimeter layer height to ensure the support-free part functions correctly. I used PLA for my case, but if your chip tends to overheat, you might want to consider using PETG or ABS/ASA instead.
As for the nozzle size, I’ve tested it with both 0.4mm and 0.6mm nozzles. The hexagon pattern has 0.8mm walls, so theoretically, it should work with a nozzle up to 0.8mm, but I haven’t tested this.
I might make a version with a fan if there is any interest, but my Orange Pi doesn't really get that hot. (and I don't have any 5V fans)
