By the past I bought that easy shelf brackets that hold a shelf by it's own weight. Unfortunately, I could not find it anymore in the neighbourhood. So I decided to make my own, and make it parametric, so I'm able to adapt it to any shelf thickness.

So if you like a custom bracket to match your board thickness, feel free to ask.

/!\ Please not that kind of brackets are not heavy duty. If you want to hold a heavy shelf, multiply the number of brackets. In the same way, use the proper screw according to the weight each should hold. If you're not confident, make some tests.

Please note the best strenght is achieve with the bracket printed the chick on the bed. This way the layers are perpendicular to the shelf. Print at the highest temperature the filament can hold, to prevent delamination.

Please note The infill percentage matters for the bracket strenght. Adapt the infill to the weight the shelf is meant to hold. As the strenght of the brackets depends a lot of the settings and the printer which make it, if you're not confident, or in dangerous configurations, do some testing before permanent use.

Here (and here only, my printer, my plastic, my shelf, etc.), a pair of 100% infill 18mm bracket holds a 1000x200mm shelf supporting 4x10kg containers, with 8mm wall plugs and 6x60mm screws. I guess It can hold more but I haven't try yet. A single 5mm bracket hold a 300x100mm glass shelf with 5 full size perfume bottles, with 5mm wall plug and 2.5x30mm screew.

The shelf is not meant to reach the wall. If you want it, cut a recess corresponding to each bracket thickness.
