Descrição
A small robotic hand driven by a cheep 9g servo, printed fully assembled in one piece.
This is designed for a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height, the tolerances are very tight so if you have any over-extrusion this will not printed correctly.
This model needs support so the gears aren't fused to the surfaces below and above them - but the supports have to be small and breakable, Cura's support everywhere settings works fine, Slic3r default supports are massive and will probably not work.
When you take the hand off the buildplate the "finger" edges should look like they are touching but shouldn't be fused at all.
You need to remove the supports holding the motor coupling before anything else, otherwise the shaft connecting it to the gears might break.
After removing the support just pull the "fingers" apart, you need to apply some force to break the supports but it shouldn't be too difficult.
Open and close the hand a few times to wear out the supports and make it easier to the servo, if the servo can't push the hand its not exactly centered.
This model was designed with SketchUp the STL files were fixed with Microsoft 3D Builder, it was then sliced with Cura and printed on my Robo3D R1+
