All you need is this baby and a pair of 2 litre bottles and you are all set for at least 20 minutes.

Remixed from the “2 liter threads” thing over on thingiverse, this is a coupler to tie a pair of pop bottles together.  Fill one, invert the assembly, shake vigorously side to side and watch the whirlpool.
