We bought an indoor security camera to use as a baby monitor and it came with its own mounting system instead of ¼ 20UNC threaded insert like every other camera has been using for 70 years. I scuffed up the original mount that came in the box and added a small amount of epoxy to the base and mounted it to my VR base station stand. This works for all surface mount camera stations that use ¼ 20 UNC.
