ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

Thread the 4 dial rings and gold ring onto the pommel (gold ring on top), and glue to the bottom of the core piece (I added an optional file for all 4 rings connected, you can decide whether to glue them to the gold sections or let them spin)

Thread the handle piece through the core and glue it to the base of it

Assemble the 4 cage pieces by gluing the top of each to a groove in the emitter top, and aligning them with the emitter bottom and the cage holder (emitter bottom is the part that slides in and out of the handle, cage holder is always in the handle and is mostly for alignment). The emitter bottom is fairly loose so make sure you hold it in place as you glue it. Then thread a pin through the holes in the cage and claws, make sure it's loose enough to open and close freely. Fit a rubber band around the grooves in the claws.

Test the button to make sure it fits in one of the slots in the bottom of the emitter construction, sand if necessary (it probably is).

At this point I painted the blue parts of the emitter

Then slide the emitter into the handle, sand if necessary to make sure everything goes in and out smoothly, then glue the button to the emitter through the slider groove. you could use friction to make sure it stays in to avoid gluing but it didn't work for me.
