The files provided here contain 3D models of gyroid structures. These models serve to visualize and explore the fascinating three-dimensional periodic minimal surface that is found in a variety of real-world applications, from nanoporous materials to biological systems. The two example images showcase the natural occurrence of gyroid structures - one illustrating the formation of a gyroid in the pores of diblockopolymers via electrodeposition of gold, and the other depicting the gyroid structure within a butterfly's wing, contributing to its vibrant green coloration. These models provide an excellent educational tool for exploring this complex geometric pattern.
